Terms & Conditions – Acuity World Courses, Workshops & In-House Training

These terms of sale and delivery apply to all offers and orders placed with Acuity World ApS unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any terms stated by the buyer (e.g. in emails, orders, or confirmations) do not override these terms unless explicitly accepted in writing by Acuity World ApS.

Acuity World ApS reserves the right to make minor adjustments to these terms.

Agreement & Confirmation

An agreement is considered binding when Acuity World ApS has issued a written order or course confirmation.

Any objections must be submitted in writing within 5 business days from the confirmation date.

Prices & Payment

Offers are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

Invoices are issued upon order confirmation and must be paid within 14 days.

Late payments will incur interest of 1/6 of the applicable discount rate per commenced month, with a minimum of 1.75% per commenced month from the due date.

Workshops and events (Half-day / Full-day)

For half-day and full-day workshops and events, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • More than 14 days before the event → 100% refund
  • 7–14 days before the event → 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before the event → no refund

Participants may be replaced by another person upon prior written notice.

Open Courses  – Cancellation

Open courses include all publicly available courses, workshops, masterclasses, and events.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing and include the invoice number.

  • More than 6 weeks before the start date → 90% refund
  • 4–6 weeks before the start date → 50% refund
  • Less than 4 weeks before the start date → no refund

Participants may be replaced by another person from the same organization upon prior written notice.

Open Courses – Changes

Changes to participation may be made up to 4 weeks before the start date, subject to agreement with Acuity World ApS.

If participation is postponed, the original payment terms remain unchanged.

A transfer fee of DKK 2,500 (excl. VAT) per module applies for changes between modules.

Changes requested less than 4 weeks before the start date may be treated as a cancellation (see section 3).

Participation

No refunds are granted for non-attendance or partial participation.

Course Changes or Cancellation by Acuity World ApS

Acuity World ApS reserves the right to postpone or cancel courses in case of over-subscription, insufficient registrations, or unforeseen circumstances, with a minimum of 3 days’ notice.

If a session is cancelled due to instructor illness or absence and no suitable replacement can be arranged, alternative dates will be offered where possible.

If no replacement is offered, a proportional refund will be issued.

In-House Training & Consulting – Cancellation

Cancellations must be submitted in writing and include the invoice number.

  • More than 4 months before the start date → full refund minus 10% administration fee
  • Less than 4 months before the start date → no refund, unless the assignment is resold

In-House Training & Consulting – Changes

Changes to scheduled dates may be made up to 3 months before the start date, subject to agreement.

If postponed at the buyer’s request, original payment terms apply.

Changes made later than 3 months before the start date may be treated as a cancellation or invoiced as lost revenue.

Use of Services

No refunds are granted if the buyer chooses not to use parts of the agreed service.

Changes by Acuity World ApS (In-House)

If a consultant or instructor is unable to deliver due to illness or other circumstances, Acuity World ApS will, where possible, provide a replacement or reschedule.

Complaints

Any complaint regarding delivery must be submitted in writing within 6 business days after completion. info@acuityworld.com or +45 44486969

Limitation of Liability

Acuity World ApS provides services focused on personal and professional development. These services are not therapeutic in nature.

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are fit to participate. If in doubt, they should consult a relevant professional.

Acuity World ApS is not liable for individual outcomes or lack of results.

Courses may include challenging or provocative elements as part of the learning process.

Acuity World ApS may work with companies in similar industries and this does not constitute a conflict of interest.

The buyer is responsible for clearly identifying any confidential information in writing.

Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond their control that could not reasonably have been foreseen.

Course Materials

Acuity World ApS reserves the right to update course materials, provided this does not significantly affect the value of the course.

Governing Law

Any disputes shall be settled by the Maritime and Commercial Court in Copenhagen under Danish law.

For courses including an introductory day, the intro day is considered the first course day.

Open courses include all publicly available formats (courses, workshops, masterclasses, and events).

In-house training refers to courses delivered exclusively for a specific company.
