For more than 20 years, Acuity World has focused on creating value and sustainable performance through strengthening personal and social skills. We have trained several thousand people in both public organizations and private companies with significant results.
To create even greater value for our customers, we have chosen to target our leadership training to people who work in sales and marketing. Our experiences through many years have shown us that the training programs that have had the biggest impact and where we have seen the best results are the programs where the company’s sales management did not just stand on the sidelines and watch while we trained their employee. These were the programs where the sales managers took on an active role in the training and after the training used their coaching and training role in their daily work with their salespeople using our tools, both in customer meetings with their sales people and in their regular follow-ups.
Create your own Positive Activists
During the Personal Leadership Program, we will introduce the Customer Development Strategy™ as a central model for creating a healthy and sustainable business. The model essentially describes how to attract and develop loyal customers and committed and engaged employees – and how to develop them into what we call Positive Activists.
What is a Positive Activist?
A Positive Activist is a person who, entirely by him- or herself, and without prompting, speaks well of both you as a person, your company, and the product you offer. The shortest way to create Positive Activists is to ensure that people around you experience real value for themselves and their organization in collaboration with you. And at the same time, they will make a positive difference for others!
We will use the book The Positive Activist as one of the essential books throughout the program. The book discusses, in deeper detail, the concept of positive activism, the Customer Development Strategy™, and other relevant models.
One of the key points in the philosophy surrounding the concept of positive activism is successfully converting your customers into positive activists. Before you can succeed with that, your sales professionals must be Positive Activists themselves.
This, in turn, requires that you, as their leader, are a Positive Activist, too, as demonstrated through your daily practices and actions. If you want to become a Positive Activist, the Personal Leadership Program – PLP™ would be a great place to start!
What you’ll learn in this program?
In the program, you will be introduced to a number of leadership, communication, sales, and coaching tools that will help you improve your performance as a sales coach for your salespeople. You will develop the skills you need to draw out the strengths of your sales team and drive revenue. You will learn how to bring out the best in your salespeople, and you will get concrete ideas and coaching tools for how you can help your team and sales force to create the specific daily behavior that produces the results you want and need.

In other words, the leaders who are successful are those who have the personal and social competencies to translate theoretical skills into results in practice.
Our experience tells us that most leaders are skilled in the professional and business areas, while they often experience challenges with the personal and social areas of competence. Our goal is that you as a leader obtain the personal and social skills you need to achieve your goals. This education will provide you with practical training in situations that may arise in this role.
The theory will be gained through live training in groups, where the theory will be linked directly to the practical training. The training will take place in groups of no more than 25 participants, as we make it a high priority that there is time for each individual person.
